(March 25, 2015 ) Dr. Suwat Suwandee, Vice President for Administration, while “KLONG SABADCHAI” was drumming, presided over International street foods and shows organized by KBU International College as an annual function for international students in front of the dormitories, Romklao Campus. The aim of the event was to allow international students to share their different cultures, lifestyles, national costumes, and culinary skills so that others on campus would appreciate one another’s uniqueness. This includes the formation of love and learning among one another in terms of international cultures with more than 700 students from 21 countries all together.
Throughout the event, there were processions with national flags of different international students, with different booths filled with international food: Turkish, Indian, Chinese, Thai, Vietnam, and Laos, topped off with international talent shows. Moreover, there was a competition to vote for best fancy dresses from each country while the general atmosphere was filled with joy and happiness right there in the area allocated for student activities in front of the dormitories.
